MUMM: Museum fuer Uhren und Mechanische Musik

The Wichterheer mansion was built in the 13th century, by the Von Wichtracht family, a noble family from Berne, as their summer residence, and a place for the overseer of the vineyards to reside. It also has huge winecellars.

It was extensively renovated in 1995 to house the MUMM - Museum for Timekeepers and Mechanical Music and the Imobersteg collection of modern art (Chagall, Soutine, Buffet, Picasso etc).
