Gothic Foliot Clock , ca. 1500

MUMM: Museum fuer Uhren und Mechanische Musi

(Wichterheer Museum of Timepieces and mechanical Music)

This clock was made around 1500 and is similar though less decorated than those made by the famous Liechti dynasty of clockmakers, based in Winterthur (Switzerland), it operateds with verge and foliot, and is an all iron (no brass clock). Owned by the MUMM Foundation.
